Try, try again

This is an image rich post! The first is the book I’ll be using and the color choices I have at hand. Now a close up of that swatch. Images include my inspiration, the colors I had to choose from, and the first few sit down sessions… what resulted. The ٩◔‿◔۶

Knitting Since Christmas

I went out with a girlfriend on Sunday… Very cool. I think I knit for about twenty minutes… mostly we gabbed. This is after one or two minutes… “Oh! I forgot…” then I needed to explain to girlfriend what I was doing. Hey, it’s been about a month. I almost ٩◔‿◔۶

Found it!

I found the inspiration sweater! Yay! That meant I could finish the bottom and start on the sleeves. Strangely enough, even though these are larger needles, a loftier yarn, and I have more stitches on the body… it’s coming out about the same size. Hmmm… Guess he’ll wear it in ٩◔‿◔۶

So last Saturday 12/14 I had a little longer than twenty minutes to knit. That’s probably a good thing because so far this week there has not been a lot of knitting… There’s been CLEANING because of mold. Yup. MOLD!!! No, not black mold… so maybe it was mildew – ٩◔‿◔۶

Where can you knit?

Wednesday – twenty minutes at the Pioneer Home while visiting my Dad. I didn’t take a photo of the knitting until Thursday (before I started knitting at a local wool shoppe). Things are a bit blurry time-wise because of the tinking. However, I would say ON AVERAGE I’ve gotten twenty ٩◔‿◔۶

Wasting knitting time

11/27 Eco Duo size 9 needle Other than setting up Instagram (which I have only used once), I have wasted the rest of today’s knitting time looking for the pattern name of the small sweater, one of Aedan’s firsts, that has inspired me to make a larger sweater. Yes. Twenty ٩◔‿◔۶
